Dear family and friends,

Sometimes God calls you out of a pretty good life into one that is completely uncertain. One that will require complete dependency on Him. But without that risk you’ll miss the adventure, the miracles, and the provision that only comes from God…

I am so excited to be able to share a bit of my story with you and invite you into what God is doing through me!

My name is Elisabet Tuslluku and I’m a Nurse and I love to travel, and tell the world that there is ALWAYS, Hope, Peace, Love and JOY from the Lord, Jesus Christ who died and rose again.

I am a follower of Jesus, and missionary to the nations!!

I just graduated from my DTS (Discipleship Training School) with Youth with a Mission (YWAM) in Lancaster, PA. And soon I will start my secondary school called Catalyze Bible School (CBS) with YWAM. I am so excited for my new journey and so grateful for what I have learned during my DTS.

Central Asia!!!

For 8 weeks, I got the privilege to help, to serve, to learn, to teach and to preach in Central Asia.

The hospitality in this country is amazing, the people were extremely friendly! The food is so delicious and BTW my favorite food that I could eat all the time was SHAWARMA!! 😋

During my time in Central Asia my team and I worked with different ministries but the most important for me was to serve in a Medical Clinic and to learn about the healthcare system. The medical system in Central Asia was not good at all. Generally, in Central Asia, emergency medical services are not available in rural areas. Most of the emergency service workers do not speak English. The place that we were has approximately 3,000 pharmacies. However, most of them do not remain open for 24 hours.

The Gynecologist/Obstetrics/Pediatrician Unit was in really bad conditions. The mothers suffer a lot during the pregnancy, she doesn’t have any emotional, physical support at all. During birth they do not have any good care for the mom but also for the baby. The Hospital doesn't allow the father or any relatives in the room  to support the mother. They do not have DOULAS or Birth Assistant during birth. The public hospitals are not clean and are not in the standards that it needs to be. Kids are having different physiological and disabilities/problems because they are diagnosed incorrectly by the doctors. And there's no school for them because if you have problems you are not able to attend the school and the government does not support these kids.

Corruption is happening every day in the healthcare system.

We had testimonies from people in that country that their kid has died, but they have found God's strength to live again.

Why do I want to do CBS?!

I will be activated to be a communicator of God’s word to God’s world. Catalyst Bible School is a 6-month intensive training that immerses and grounds me in the Word of God, equips me with practical skills and opportunities to disciple others in God’s Word and launches me into my calling. But also to help me grow in leadership and working in teams and learning more about nations and their healthcare systems.

My calling is to share the Gospel through medical service. The gift that God has given me is to take care of people in the difficult moments of their lives. “When you’re a nurse, you know that every day you will touch a life or a life will touch yours.” Being a nurse is a calling. It’s not just a profession; it’s a calling from God to take care of the sick.

God desires to see everyone caring for each other as nurses care for their patients.

And MY VISION after CBS is to be a staff member with YWAM and pioneer a DTS with

MEDICAL COMPASSION Outreach when I send the teams into the nations.

Your prayers are more than welcomed for all of this. Pray that Jesus will continue to mold me into the person He wants me to be for the specific call He has and that He will lead me into that. Pray that God will send healthcare workers into these nations and Pray for Central Asia.

If you feel the LORD is leading you to support me financially, both short-term or long-term, your support is a huge blessing whether big or small and I pray that you would also be blessed in your blessing me.

It may be difficult to have enough money for long term missions so if you feel led to partner with me in prayer and or fundraising, YOU will be a part of my team and ministry and what the Holy Spirit does through me in the nations and the hearts of His people, and YOU will also receive a reward for how you have blessed and invested in the Kingdom of God!

Thank you so much!
