Hi friends! I am Helaina Cannelongo, a full-time missionary with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in Kona, Hawaii! YWAM's mission is to know God, and to make Him known!

I serve on staff with Fire and Fragrance which is a discipleship training school within YWAM. where we want to be sold out and fully surrendered to Jesus. Prayer and worship is at the center of everything we do. Our mission is to train up and send out young people with burning hearts, to the ends of the earth, carrying the love of Jesus.

My heart has been deeply wrecked for the nations and missions for as long as I can remember. The Lord led me to do a Discipleship Training School (DTS) in Kona, Hawaii through the Fire & Fragrance school in January 2022, where the Lord completely marked my life for missions, and gave me this deep passion and burden to see His name be made known amongst the unreached people groups in the world. During my DTS my life was completely transformed to truly lay down everything and to love Jesus with my whole heart, and to see the need for every tribe tongue and nation to encounter the life-altering love of Jesus.

After my time in Kona, God revealed to me the call upon my life to disciple people and to go carry His love to the ends of the earth, to bring his light to the places that feel the most broken and dark, to see chains fall and the captives set free, to watch his love radically transform lives, to watch his power be unleashed over the nations and to see the Lord receive His reward of His suffering!

I have been with YWAM for the past year, and have committed the next two years to serve on staff, however I am open to whatever the Lord has for me!

While on staff, I will continue mentoring and discipling students, leading outreach teams to the nations and watch first hand a generation fall so madly in love with Jesus, lay down their lives and get sent into all the world!
