Hi there!

My name is Jarrett Kowski, and I am a full-time missionary affiliated with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) Marine Reach in Tauranga New Zealand.

Our Mission:

Marine Reach New Zealand is a pioneering, missional community of people with a shared desire to show God’s compassion to those who are overlooked, forgotten, and vulnerable around the world, especially in New Zealand and the islands of the South Pacific.

This desire compels us to:

Raise up a new generation of pioneering leaders through biblical training and discipleship, provide healthcare services to those in need, and establish new missions centers in isolated communities across the Pacific.

I came to do my Discipleship Training School with YWAM Marine Reach in January 2020, and I have been with them ever since. During my lecture phase, I felt God give me a vision for future missions. A vision for surfing ministry here in New Zealand. I am planning to fully step into ministry early 2023, and in the mean time, I am growing in my faith, training, and preparing for the mission field. God has also called me to long-term missions here in New Zealand where surfing ministry, God willing, I will do for 12 years.

God has done such incredible things in my life and I know He will continue to do so. God has called me to this vocation as a missionary. I never thought this would be my life, but I have overjoyed when I think about it. I am committed to God and to see His kingdom come through the Gospel, and I am so excited to be able to live this life. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
