Hey friends! My name is Sarah Scroggins and I am serving the Lord with YWAM (Youth With A Mission), for the next upcoming months, and will be serving the Lord in Brazil following!
At the age of 18, I surrendered my entire life to Jesus. Shortly after, I received a very clear instruction from God: to bring the gospel to all nations. Giving the Lord my “yes”, and allowing Him to guide my life, has launched my passion and ignited the fire in my heart to be a full time missionary!
Following God's calling, I began my missionary journey in Mazatlán, Mexico, September 2023, where I completed my Discipleship Training School. After 3 months of deepening my relationship with Jesus, diving into the Bible, and receiving teachings on the character of God, I had the opportunity to serve my DTS outreach one month in Peru and one month in Veracruz, Mexico. During this time, I witnessed the love, grace, power, and beauty of our savior Jesus Christ!
The Lord has ignited a passion in my heart to encourage and disciple the body of Christ! To speak love, truth, and hope into God's children. I believe there is power and beauty in the body of Christ. God has given me a burning passion to fan the flames of faith of others by allowing the Lord to speak through me with grace and truth. To apply the truth that we are equipped with the Holy Spirit! That anything is possible with God!
From April to June, 2024, I will be serving the Kingdom at YWAM Kona with the volunteer program called Kokua Crew. I will be an assistant teacher for their children's program! I am very excited to disciple, encourage, and teach the next generation! What a blessing from God! <3
Following Kokua Crew, I will be serving the Lord in Brazil. I received a calling to Brazil shortly after I gave my life to Christ in 2023. I will be attending Dunamis Greenhouse for the first two weeks of July, and working with churches and mission organizations to serve the community, share the love of Jesus, encourage and uplift the body of Christ, and most importantly, fulfill the great commission wherever God calls me! I have given my “yes” to God, and I am extremely excited to walk with Him throughout missions in Brazil.
