Hello! We are Skip, Tami, Koa and Ayla Bachman and we are serving in Sosua, Dominican Republic.  

We have a relational ministry, serving in education and empowerment.  We work with Niños de la Luz, a ministry that provides a loving home to boys who were abandoned or abused.  

Skip maintains the property, does carpentry and construction projects and is involved in mentorship.  Skip and Tami teach at the school on the property.  This is a community school that educates the boys at the home, as well as the children in the local community, who would otherwise not be able to go to school due to transportation challenges. Tami serves local women, babies and families in the areas of pregnancy and lactation support, education and training of lactation peer counselors.
