Hello! We are Travis and MacKenzie Tridle and we are Missionaries with Youth With A Mission (YWAM).
We are a Bible oriented family focused on bringing biblical truth and literacy around the world with a focus on the Middle East. Travis has a calling to work with young men that have troubled pasts that find themselves in detention centers. MacKenzie feels called to speak identity into young women through the word and help people understand the goodness of God through understanding the Bible.
We will be moving to Central Asia within the next 5 years. MacKenzie has some autoimmune health problems that she is working on before we can go. She needs to be in better health so we can properly sustain ourselves on the mission field. We are taking active steps with holistic doctors in the states to get her healthy. As she is working on her health we will be full time in ministry staffing with Discipleship Training Schools and Bible Schools through YWAM in the United States. Doing full time missions and discipleship in the states will help prepare us for when we do make it to Central Asia in the next few years.

I grew up in a Christian home and gave my life to the Lord when I was 5 years old after church one day, sitting in my grandma's car. As I got older, God was not the center of my life, although I still knew Him. I then went on my first mission trip to Haiti with my church when I was 17. This is the first time I encountered the Holy Spirit and discovered the calling on my life for missions. When I was 20 years old I went to Kona, Hawaii to do a 6 month Discipleship Training School (DTS) with YWAM Kona. During this school my calling for missions grew as I felt called to a life of missions and to live in the Middle East. After this school and a 3 month outreach to Swaziland, I did a Bible school through YWAM called Bible Core Course (BCC). In this 3 month school, I read through the entire Bible and inductively studied 13 of the books. During this school I started to realize I wanted to teach the Bible as my main ministry and bring the Bible back to where it was written. After this school I started staffing with YWAM Kona to grow in discipleship and teaching the Bible. I then completed a 9 month Bible school called School of Biblical Studies (SBS), where I read through the Bible 5 times and inductively studied each book. This school grew my passion for the bible even more. I know I am called to be a Bible teacher. My mission in life is to bring the Bible back to where it was written and empower women in their identity in Christ.Â

Growing up, I only saw and knew Christianity by name, not as a relationship, rejecting it as I got older. My life and purpose began to change in my late 20s when I started searching and seeking God myself. Truly wanting to know the character and love that He provides. I started to ask questions, read the Bible, and go to church every Sunday. I started to really know who God is, but even with the progress I had made, I felt called for more. I quit my job and did a 6 month Discipleship Training School with YWAM Kona. This is where I began to have a better understanding and the purpose God had called me to do. During this time, I got baptized, and did a 3 month outreach to Fiji. In Fiji, my team and my main ministry was focused on kids and teens. That’s where I began to have a better understanding about the calling God put on my heart. I am now enrolled in a 3 month Bible Core Course (BCC) in Norway, where I will be equipping myself with the proper tools and resources to create a foundation in the Word for myself. I know that I am called to disciple young men. I am grateful for this opportunity to know the word and then disciple through the knowledge I gain. I will be stepping into discipling young men as I staff DTS’s with YWAM in the states. I am excited to see how this prepares me for walking with young men in Central Asia and showing them the love of God.
